Features

A Ceramic-Lined Gate Valve is a heavy-duty industrial gate valve where all wetted surfaces — the body interior, the gate (wedge), and the seat areas — are lined with high-performance engineering ceramic (typically alumina ceramic, Al₂O₃, or zirconia ceramic).

The ceramic lining provides exceptional wear resistance, erosion resistance, and corrosion resistance far exceeding that of standard metal gate valves, while the outer metal body (WCB, CF8, CF8M) provides mechanical strength and pressure containment.

Superior abrasion resistance – Ceramic hardness (9 on Mohs scale, sapphire-level) resists wear from sharp particles

Excellent erosion resistance – Withstands high-velocity abrasive media without surface degradation

Corrosion resistance – Ceramic is inert to most acids, alkalis, and chemicals

Long service life – Ceramic lining lasts 5-10 times longer than hardened steel in abrasive service
