Features

A Ceramic-Lined Ball Valve is a high-performance quarter-turn valve where all wetted surfaces — the ball, the body interior, and the seat areas — are lined with or manufactured from high-performance engineering ceramic (typically alumina ceramic, Al₂O₃, or zirconia ceramic).

The ceramic lining provides exceptional wear resistance, erosion resistance, and corrosion resistance far exceeding that of standard metal or lined ball valves, while the outer metal body (A105, E304, F316) provides mechanical strength and pressure containment.

Superior abrasion resistance – Ceramic hardness (9 on Mohs scale, sapphire-level) resists wear from sharp particles (silica, coal, calcium carbonate)

Excellent erosion resistance – Withstands high-velocity abrasive media without surface degradation

Corrosion resistance – Ceramic is inert to most acids, alkalis, and chemicals (hydrochloric acid, etc.)

Low operating torque – Polished ceramic ball and seats provide extremely low friction
